Petroleum coke samples are original one and those heat-treated at 1860, 2100, 2300, 2600, and 2800C (abbreviated to PC, PC1860, PC2100, PC2300, PC2600, and PC2800). First coulombic efficiency of petroleum coke varies depending on the heat-treatment temperatures as given in Table 9.9 [45,46,50].PC1860 and PC2100 give high first coulombic efficiencies, 88–90%.
