2017-5-1 · The composite feedstock powders were produced by dry ball-milling the Nylon 11 with fumed silica nanoparticles, fumed alumina nanoparticles, and white calcined alumina; the overall ceramic phase content was 10 vol.%. The effectiveness of the ball milling process was evaluated as a function of the particle size of the ceramic reinforcement.
