LOCATION
All workshops and events will be held at the LOFToDANCE studio at ul. Kamienna 2-4 in Krakow.
1100 m2 of climatic space in the historical 19th-century fort of Krakow fortress. 5 dance halls, wooden floors, mirrors and professional sound system. All this to provide you with the best conditions!
ACCESS
We are located just next to the historical center of Cracow, at the II ring, which makes it perfectly comfortable to reach us from all directions. If you come by car, you can use few parking facilities:
- (A) internal parking of LOFToDANCE, next to the school (entrance from Kamienna street)
- (B) parking of the sports hall of Politechka Krakowska (Kamienna 17 street)
- (C) public parking places at Kamienna street (from number 19)
- (D) parking of Forty Kleparz club (entrance from al. Słowackiego street)
LOFToDANCE is located at the main transportation artery of Cracow, served by numerous tram and bus lines. Closest tram/bus stops:
- (A) Nowy Kleparz – tram no. 18; bus lines no. 130, 132, 139, 154, 159, 164, 169, 179, 192, 208, 257, 277, 280, 304, 501, 503, 511, 608, 669, 904
- (B) Dworzec Towarowy – tram lines no. 3, 5, 17, 19, 50, 69
- (C) bus station at Nowy Kleparz – bus lines no. 140, 154; commercial buses from northern directions
LOFToDANCE is located only 1,5 km from the central train station (Dworzec Główny) in Cracow. You can have a nice 15-20 min walk or catch a tram.
You will reach us with a tram within just few minutes using lines no. 3, 69 from the stop “Dworzec Główny” or “Dworzec Główny Zachód” or using lines no. 5, 17, 19, 50 from the stop “Dworzec Główny Tunel”.
You go just 2 stops and get off at “Dworzec Towarowy” – the whole journey will take no more than 5 minutes!
Krakow Balice is the second largest airport in Poland in terms of passenger traffic. It serves most international airlines and so called “cheap airlines”. The airport is located only 17 km away from the city center. The most convenient way to get to the center is by taking a:
- train directly from the terminal to the main train station “Dworzec Główny” (departures every 20-30 minutes; journey time about 20-30 minutes, cost 9 PLN)
- taxi (Kraków Airport Taxt from the terminal for about 90 PLN or by calling cheaper company, e.g. Icar or Mega Taxi for about 50 PLN)
ACCOMMODATION
The location of the festival is 1.5-2 km from the very center of Krakow and from the Main Railway Station, within which there are hundreds of hotels, hostels and apartments. Please see below few selected accommodation options close to the studio:
